Escrima

The Escrima were introduced into the White Cloud syllabus in 1980 by Dave Cowell who learnt the art from Danny Inosanto (best known as a student of Bruce Lee).

Mastery of these weapons requires fast hands and supple wrists so they are usually taught along side Wing Chun which requires similar attributes and progression in the one aids progression in the other.

The White Cloud student will work through numerous strike combinations, a variety of two man drills, self defence applications then one and two stick sparring.
