Spear

The Spear (Qiang) is not taught as often as the other weapons but those who have been training at White Cloud for long enough will have had some experience sparring with them. The stabs and sweeps employed by the spear are little different from those same strikes used with a staff in hand and so, for the student who has already trained sufficiently with the staff, the step to the spear is but a small one.
